ABOUT
Ray Tomkins
I’m a media composer and sound designer creating original music for film, television, documentary and other visual media. I specialise in electronic and atmospheric scores, with a particular interest in independent productions and distinctive storytelling.
I combine synthesis, acoustic instruments and custom sound design (including sounds created with Spike, my own synthesiser plugin) to develop a sound that belongs to each project. I take the work from the first musical ideas through to final mix and delivery.
